OUR STORY
David Sherrod started his career in construction from the ground up, starting with sweeping floors and scraping finishes, and over time built a career centered on something many contractors overlook: the relationship.
A Building Science graduate from Auburn University ('86) and Birmingham native, David started BRBC with a simple idea — a contractor should be someone you trust, not someone you just deal with. After working across both residential and commercial projects, he chose to focus on custom homes — the kind of spaces people actually live in, where the best parts of life happen.
Today, BRBC is a team of eight — experienced, steady, and personally invested in the work they take on. They’re not the biggest company in Birmingham. They’re the one clients come back to — and the one they recommend to their family generations later.
